The book deals with a companion of Imam Hussein (AS) who failed to company him in Kerbela trip but later felt sorry and adjoined the Caravan of Master of Martyrs. When A Heart can be described as a story with historical roots in which elements of imagination have created an attractive and alluring story for readers. Its historical root dates back to Jahilyat era and a rich family living in Mecca. Mosab bin Amir is a handsome youth who used to trade with is parents. As traders, his parents take advantage of their son's beautiful face to attract people. All girls of Mecca fell in love with Mosab. One of them is Marya, one of bondwomen of Khannas, Mosab's mother. The novel starts with an adventure and it repeated at the beginning of each chapter. It forces the reader review his/her mind and remind what happened already. Of course it is only one of attractions of the novel.
