Mohammad Reza Ziaee

Mohammad Reza Ziaee was born in Evaz City, Fars Province of Iran, in 1949. He is among rare artists who are not only active in practice, but also work theoretically. His works cover a wide range of activities including drawing cartoon, which had been published in Iran, publishing hundreds professional articles about cartoons in Iran and world. It can be claimed that Mohammad Reza Ziaiee is the most active cartoonist in theoretical areas. He has worked as a journalist for more than 30 consecutive years. His works and products are not limited to cartoons and articles, but he has succeeded to train another innovative cartoonist, Laleh Ziaiee, his daughter.

His works are as follows: Hezar Gheseh magazine, cartoon for children, Tanz Fokahion, Khorjin Magazine, Gol Agha magazine, and book of cartoons, working with Keyhan caricature, and Pilban magazine.
