According to IBNA correspondent quoting from the public relations office of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the book comprises selected classic poems from the Iranian prominent bards such as Molavi (Rumi), Khayyam, Jami, Rudaki which have been translated into Georgian.

The other part of the book is centered on the works of Georgian literature about Rostam and Sohrab [the mythical heroes, a father and a son in ‘Shahnameh’ by Ferdowsi]. This part also includes ancient Persian epigraphs translated into Georgian.

The most significant point about this book is that it describes Georgian literature in connection with the religions of Islam and Christianity from one hand, and the common words in Persian and Georgian languages which have been profoundly considered by the author, from the other.
