"The myth of Falak-ol-Aflak" is an ancient myth of Lorestan Region. It narrates the story of king who has only a girl who plays Kamancheh (a type of fiddle) and is very strong and courage.

The king one day calls for all elders of the nation and tell them that "I have no son to make him my successor, however I have a daughter who can be a deserved successor for me." The claim makes everybody astonished as they start to oppose severely. At last the first minister of the court dares to say that, "Your Majesty, your daughter can be your successor only after winning the horse-riding match, achieving the Mitra's wand and returning the bronze statue of your household, which had been grabbed by the Akvan-e Div many years ago.
